Review: This album doesn’t live up to all the Rolling Stone 4-Star “The Jonas Brothers are acting their dad’s age” hype, but its OK. BB Good isn’t Daddy’s music. But, check out the ultra pop track Burnin Up (Over 18 Million YouTube Plays and #1 Video on iTunes). Lovebug is a really care-free acoustic track where the Jonas Brothers talk throughout the song. Shelf and One Man Show are examples of band’s new found “mature” rock sound. The second half of the short 12-song album slows down a bit. The Jonas Brothers experiment with a slower rock sound on the title track A Little Bit Longer and the rest of the album is decent power pop. Eat your heart out mouseketeers.
