Maybach Music Group & Bigga Rankin Presents “Da Boss Volume 2″ Mixtape
Album: Da Boss Volume 2 Mixtape
Rating: N/A
Review: If you love teaser tracks on mixtapes, this is your tape! With 45 tracks on this tape, you would think that you might be able to listen to at least one full-length track, but that is not the case. Unfortunately, everything on this tape is a snippet, some tracks are so short that you cant even get a good feel for the song. The Intro titled American Gangsta features Ross talking about how he is worth 8 figures. There is a sped up version of Hustlin on the tape and a good mix of older Ross jams, freestyle and remix material and snippets of some newer Rick Ross joints. This tape is likely designed to capitalize off some of the recent Fifty Cent / Rick Ross beef, but for the average mixtape consumer, the track length really prohibits listeners from riding out hard to this tape. If you’re a die hard Ross fan, you probably want to check this tape out as it is a healthy amount of material from the boss, especially remix material, where Ross really shines.
