Lil Wayne & Juelz Santana “My Face Can’t Be Felt.” Mixtape
Album: My Face Can’t Be Felt. Mixtape
Rating: N/A
Review: Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana appear together on this collaborative mixtape that showcases the best of both rapper’s styles. This tape will surely satisfy the Wayne-heads although a few tracks have appeared as leaks and on bootleg mixtapes before, overall the tape has plenty of fresh material and even the previously released material sounds like it has finally been engineered properly. Does What She Wants is an awesome laid-back guitar track with storytelling lyrics from Wayne and strong delivery from Juelz. No More is one of those chipmunk tracks with the hook sped up to distort the vocals but is still nice. Lil Wayne’s collabo with Justin Timberlake is on the tape and is titled I Heard. Its a tight track but Justin’s vocals sound raw and unpolished in the mix. Im From The South has a good bass-heavy beat and is an enjoyable track, so is Cut Like A Blender with its Batman sample and aggressive delivery from both rappers. What The 380 Said is one of the tracks that has been on the mixtape circuit for a minute, you may recognize it from its lyrics “don’t worry bout me, worry bout my bitch… I got a bitch named nina and ninas so slutty, cause she’d do him and everyone of his buddies.” Listen to If U Lookin For Me, I’m Not Human and Lil Wayne and T-Pain’s T-Wayne which features T-Pain rapping over a minimal but still hot beat. At the end of the tape, there are a handful of snippets and teasers including That Thang K, So Good, Blame It (Remix) and the Turn Me On (Remix). Don’t miss Swag Surfing at the end of the tape which is also a really enjoyable track. Overall, this tape has a lot of exclusive material on it. The tape feels like its much more Wayne than Juelz even on the collabo tracks, which mostly feature Wayne. But, when Juelz does his thing there is definitely no denying The Diplomat’s rappers lyrical ability.
